URGENT UPDATE ON BILL SB 469 AT&T HAS PUT TOGETHER A PLAN ON DEREGULATING THE PHONE INDUSTRY. THIS BILL WILL DO NOTHING MORE THAN CUT JOBS AND CUT JOBS. BACK IN 1999-2000 AT&T HAD VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE IN WISCONSIN AND THE WISCONSIN PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION FORCED AT&T TO HIRE MOST OF THE EMPLOYEES OVER THE LAST 11 YEARS. THIS IS A DIRECT EFFECT ON YOUR JOB. IF THIS BILL PASSES CUSTOMER SERVICE WILL AGAIN GO DOWN AND BUSINESS CUSTOMERS WILL HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO GO TO VOIP. THIS WILL ELIMINATE DIAL TONE FOR GOOD. I WILL AGREE WITH AT&T ON ONE KEY ISSUE, OUR COMPETITORS LIKE CABLE T.V. SHOULD BE REGULATED THE SAME AS AT&T. WE WOULD SUPPORT THIS REGULATION AND HELP OUR EMPLOYER PASS MORE REGULATIONS ON OUR COMPETITION. THIS IS DO TO PARITY IN THE INDUSTRY. CWA LOCAL 4622 Goal is to provide Representation, Organization, and Working Legislative for all members!!!!!!!!!! Working people have regressed back 70 years. We are living back in the 1930's were husbands, wives and children all have to work to make ends meat. Since the 1938 child labor laws have been in effect we cannot send children in the work force but instead we have credit card debt to replace working children? This is a direct affect of anti-union labor in this country? Corporations and businesses have done a great job on keeping working peoples wages low and profits high? Our nation is only 9% unionized in the United States private sector, compared to 70% or more in other countries. In foreign countries the government in scared of the working people but in the United States the people are scared of the government???????? Workers it is time to come together and unite for all people and bring back this great country for our children.
